CRAWLEY TOWN DARE TO DREAM
Crawley Town football club will enter the footballing folk law, should they manage to pull off the impossible on Saturday night. They are traveling to Old Trafford to play Manchester United with everyone already writing them off, and why shouldn't they write them off here are some comparisons between the two sides.
CRAWLEY TOWN
Based in Sussex Crawley Town play in the Conference league and face weekly trips to the likes of Bath City, Forest Green Rovers and Luton.
They play in the modest Broadfield Stadium which holds just under 5,000 people.but on average only pull in 1,000 fans to games.
There highest paid player earns around 1,000 pounds a week and the club has recently received backing from some unknown investors in Hong Kong.
There most recent successes have come in the Sussex senior cup and the Southern League Championship, and they have already pulled off some shock results by beating Derby County,Swindon Town and Torquay United to get this far in the FA cup.
MANCHESTER UNITED
One of the biggest clubs in the world, playing in arguably the best league in the world.
they play at Old Trafford and have a weekly turn out of 75,000 fans to watch them play.
many great players have played for Manchester United including the likes of David Beckham,Roy Keane and Eric Cantona and more recently the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo,Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney.
There highest paid player earns 250,000 pounds a week, and they boast one of the best records in football with numerous Premier league wins, Champions League wins, FA and Carling Cups.
NOW THINGS THEY DO HAVE IN COMMON
Both clubs are nicknamed the Red Devils, due to their red strips.
They are also helped financially by foreign investors, and both managed by a fierce Scotsman.
MY PREDICTION
MANCHESTER UNITED 3 -0 CRAWLEY TOWN
Thanks For Reading
